As a Grass Cutter you will be responsible for:

Predominantly cutting of grass with a rotary mower or ride on mower once trained

Strimming of gardens and grassed areas.

Litter picking grassed areas before cutting grass.

Sweeping of paths, leaving the area clean and tidy.

Cleaning of all tools and equipment after use.

Taking care for your own safety and that of your colleagues and others around you.

The shift and pay rates are:

07:30 -16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 15:30 Friday

Basic Rate - £10.98ph

Key skills: Full driving licence, Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential, Use of petrol powered tools, Willing to learn, Hard working.

Here is a little more information on the role as a Metal Sorter...

Your role here is varied across different aspects of metal recycling from sorting and testing metals using an XRF Analyser or working on an automated guillotine cutting metal sheets for customer orders.

Full training is provided although similar experience working within metal recycling is an advantage as is a counterbalance driving licence. Previous experience using handheld XRF Analysers is also desired.

Due to the location your own transport is required, as public transport links are limited and do not suit the working hours.

How much will you get paid as a Metal Sorter?

• from £13.50 per hour, including shift allowance
• 40 hours paid per week

• Perform bailing function: Fill bailer with correct materials, bale waste
• Ensure shop floor waste streams are services: Chocks returned to process start point Empty waste cages into bailer.  Empty bins as required.

• Service waste collections: Load collection vehicles for wood/card/plastic.
• Supply material to all coating and printing machinery.

Our client is a specialist cardboard and flexible container recycling company, and your role as a Yard Operator is to load and unload HGV and Containers, along with moving bales of recycled materials around the site.

You will be using the baler to compress recyclables, and document and secure each load. Ideally you may already have worked within recycling previously however full training can be provided.

You will hold a current Counterbalance FLT Licence, and previous experience using Telehandlers is an advantage.
