Despatch Operator

Title: Despatch Operator
Salary: £12.36 - £18.54
Job Type: Permanent 
Working Times: 

Week 1: Monday – Friday 6am - 2pm

Week 2: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm 

Main Duties:

• Completion of delivery notes.
• Printing and amending customer orders from SAGE.
• Daily completion of the fork lift truck check sheets.
• Sending short product information to the relevant individuals / customers in a timely manner.
• Completion of the booking out procedure.
• Picking customer orders accurately and placing into pallets.
• Shrinkwrap all orders and load onto refrigerated vehicles.
• Completion of the QA goods outwards procedure.
• Ensure the Despatch area and Loading Bays are clean and tidy at all times.
• About You:
• Experienced in the food manufacturing field
• Quick learner with a sense of urgency
• Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
• Able to work independently and carry out all tasks

• Courage to challenge own team, self and other functions for good of the department and or business.

• Good communication both written and verbal.  Organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
