gap personnel are recruiting for reliable and motivated individuals to join a respected poultry production facility near Crediton, Devon. Supplying premium chicken and duck products to some of the UK’s top restaurants and chefs, this is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled and supportive team within a fast-paced food production environment.

Main Duties

• Preparing and packing poultry products for distribution

• Removing wax and feathers

• Washing, bagging, and labelling products

• Learning the skill of cutting and portioning poultry in both the EV and cutting rooms

• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Please note:

• Some manual handling is required

• Certain areas involve working in chilled temperatures

Full induction, training, and all PPE will be provided.

 

About You

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Reliable and punctual

• Willing to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Capable of understanding and following basic English instructions

 

Shift Details

Monday to Friday: 6:00am start – midday finish*
(*Friday may finish earlier depending on production levels and time of year)

Monday to Friday (Part-Time): 0900AM - 1500PM

 

Pay and Benefits

Rate: £12.40 per hour (aged 18+)
