Park Assistant

Location: Norwich
Pay Rate: £12 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Sunday (Rotating Schedule)
Average Weekly Hours: 29.83 (Hours may increase seasonally)

Join our team as a Park Assistant and make a positive impact in the beautiful parks of Norwich, including Eaton Park, Earlham Park, and Waterloo Park! We are seeking dedicated individuals who enjoy the outdoors and want to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our parks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a designated van (classified as a car) to various parks in Norwich.
• Check and secure parks before closing times, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
• Conduct litter picking, handle waste management by emptying and positioning bins properly.
• Move efficiently between parks to complete necessary tasks before closing.

Shift Details:

• Weekdays: Starting at 15:30
• Weekends: Starting at 07:00, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours (ending as late as 23:30)
• Rotating off days each week (Example: Work Mon-Wed, Off Thu-Fri, Work Sat-Sun, etc.)
• Hours will vary depending on the season, with an increase in workload during summer months.

Contract Duration: This position lasts until September, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
