Job Title: Fabricator

Location: Swindon

Pay Rate: £12.00 - £17.00p/h DOE

Contract: Perm Contract  

gap personnel Gloucester and Swindon are recruiting for 1 experienced fabricator for a permanent contract for one of the Clients in Swindon. The Client strives for excellence in everything they produce, so a candidate needs to have great attention to detail, be motivated and pro-active, and have a real commitment to becoming a valued member of the team

Main Duties as Fabricator

• Manufacturing aluminium windows and doors at a new factory in Dorcan
• Fabricating and assembling architectural aluminium systems
• Reading technical drawings, operating Machinery and ensuring the accurate fabrication of aluminium components
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Aligning components and using hand tools or machines to complete the assembly process

One-to-one training will be given and you will, over time, become multi-skilled across our different manufacturing processes.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7-30am to 4-00pm
• Overtime during weekdays as per request – pay rate to be discussed

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic Rate - £12.00 - £17.00 per hour, depending on previous experience of the candidate

Successful candidate will have experience in similar role and have contactable references upon request.
