Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Tenbury Wells, WR15

Pay Rate: £13.07 p/h - £18.90 p/h

Contract: On going Temp to perm  

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 10 Production Operatives for an ongoing temp to perm assignment for well-established ingredients factory in Tenbury Wells that produces syrups and dessert sauces amongst other products.  

For those that are able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are permanent opportunities available, and you are welcome to apply after completing your probation period minimum.

Main Duties as a Production Operative

• Packing, stacking and other general production duties
• Working towards targets set
• Visual inspection and quality checking
• General housekeeping/cleaning of production and packing area
• Ensuring items are picked as per client pick sheet
• Items checked for damage and defects and issues reported

Rotational Working Hours:

• Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, Friday 5am - 12pm/ 12pm - 7pm
• Night shift is also available Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am

Hourly Pay Rates

• Basic Rate - £13.07
• Overtime paid after 39 hours, up to £18.90 p/h

Successful candidates will have experience working in similar role, be enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual. Due to location own transport is required.

Skills required for this role:

• Good attitude to work and learn new skills
• Driven and motivated to achieve targets set
• You will have at least 6 months previous experience as a production operative
