Hire Desk Controller

Banbury | Full-time | Permanent Salary £35,000 DOE

The Role

As Hire Desk Controller, you’ll be a central part of the operation, working closely with customers, drivers, and the wider team to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of the hire process, giving you a solid platform to progress into more senior or specialist roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming hire enquiries and converting them into bookings
  • Managing hire contracts, extensions, and off-hires
  • Coordinating deliveries and collections with drivers
  • Liaising with the yard/workshop to ensure availability and readiness of equipment
  • Supporting customers throughout the hire process and resolving issues
  • Developing strong product and system knowledge over time
