Stores Operator

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for 2 Stores Operator for a leading Electrical Cable Assembler based in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Role: Store Operator 

Job term: Ongoing work with temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate

Location: Newcastle Under Lyme, ST5

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, Friday 8am-12:30pm 

Pay: £12.71 per hour 

Job description: A great opportunity to work for a global technical production company based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The ideal candidate will need to be a good communicator and interested in progressing in a busy stores department. 

The chosen candidate will follow the tasks:

• Demonstrate care and attention to handle stocks and assets throughout the whole supply chain process
• Ensure parts are picked off the shelf and kitted using FIFO
• Check incoming goods and book material onto computer system
• Pack products for despatch in line with packaging procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment 

Required Experience and Qualifications: The chosen candidate must be PC literate, have good communication skills and be able to follow detailed instructions from colleagues. They must have a full valid UK driving license. Previous experience in a warehouses and stock management will be preferred. They must have a full valid UK driving license, and GCSEs in maths and English.
