Location: Ross-on-Wye, HR9
Contract Type: Temporary, ongoing
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

About the Company

gap personnel is proud to be working with a leading manufacturer of high-quality fencing products based in the Ross-on-Wye area.

We are currently recruiting Panel Manufacturers to join our client's busy production team. 

Key Responsibilities

• Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure.
• Assembling fencing panels using hand tools and a nail gun.
• Maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Lifting, carrying, and manoeuvring completed fencing panels, which are heavy and cumbersome.
• Performing repetitive manual tasks, including lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Working safely with power tools while following all health and safety procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and accurately measure materials.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• One hour unpaid break (split into shorter breaks throughout the day)
• £12.71 per hour

Contract

This is a temporary ongoing position, initially expected to last around three months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
