Job Title: Counterbalance FLT Driver

Pay Rate: £12.99 per hour + £0.32p shift allowance = £13.31 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (Approx. 3-month assignment covering long-term sickness absence)

Location: Oakham LE15

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse team on a temporary basis to cover long-term sickness (approx. 3 months).

This is a great opportunity for a skilled FLT driver who holds a valid counterbalance licence and is comfortable working a late shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently

• Moving and loading/unloading goods within the warehouse

• Ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely

• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Current, valid Counterbalance FLT licence (must be presented at interview)

• Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment

• Good understanding of warehouse processes

• Reliable and able to commit to the full 3-month cover period

• Comfortable working a 2pm–10pm shift, Monday to Friday
