    Our average tenure of staff is much higher than the industry standard and our staff turnover rates are low, which is testament to the working environment we have created. Our employee voice is strong in Nisbets and our monthly Operations People meetings provide an open forum for colleagues to share and discuss ideas about how to improve the operation, and together we make things happen!

     

    Working as a Forklift or VNA driver in one of our modern warehouses in Chepstow you can expect a thorough and comprehensive induction and ongoing training, to ensure you gain the skills you need to be successful.  The vast majority of our shifts are Monday to Friday, so we won’t ask you to come in on the weekend, unless you want to!  

     

    We work exclusively with GAP personnel who manage our temp to perm process, working in partnership with them to ensure that every colleague feels part of the Nisbets family from day one.  We regularly move GAP colleagues to permanent contracts so they can enjoy the full benefits we offer such as.

     

    • Performance related bonus paid annually up to 3% of annual salary
    • Christmas gift of £100
    • Regular opportunities to earn overtime, at 1.5
    • Subsidised canteen with click and collect app to make things easy
    • Free parking
    • Access to Employee Assist Programme 24/7
    • Access to hundreds of high street discounts
    • Career development into Team Leader roles and higher
    • Career opportunities outside of Operations and into other functions fully supported
