Role is warehousing but with training on driving role to cover main driver

Responsibilities: picking, packing, loading van, delivering goods, driver mate

Contract: temporary to permanent

40 hour week contract

Shift:

Monday - Tuesday: 9 pm - 5:30 am

Friday: 9 pm - 12 am, 4 hours working but paid 8 - must be available to cover sickness & holiday and if covering must work 9 pm - 5:30 am on the Friday

Rates & pay: £12.31 per hour

Warehouse Operative 

Gap Personnel Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several Warehouse Operatives for one our well-established client based in Chorley. This position is a physically demanding role. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude to work. 

Overview

Our client is looking for people to work within their warehouse department, loading and unloading, checking stock, labelling stock, moving stock around the warehouse and general warehouse duties. 

Temporary to Permanent Position.

Shift Pattern & Hourly Rates

£10.20ph - 6am-6pm

£11.20ph - 6pm-6am

Monday - Friday 6-2 & 2-10 rotating weekly 

Job Type

Positions initially offer temporary/ongoing placements. Permanent opportunities may be offered following completion of 12 weeks; permanent opportunities are subject to the client’s requirements.

Warehouse operative role will include general warehouse duties, order picking, scanning, packing.

FLT driver role will include loading and unloading trailers, moving stock around the warehouse into racking locations, picking, outdoor duties.

Contract: temporary to permanent

Shifts and pay:

• Monday to Friday (8am-4pm) - £9.80 per hour
• Monday to Thursday (8pm-6am) - £12.41 per hour including shift allowance
• Monday to Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating every 2 weeks) - £11.07 per hour including shift allowance
