Gap Personnel who are operating as an employment business are currently recruiting recruiting on behalf our client for SEWING MACHINISTS to work for a busy manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port.

TEMP to PERM ROLES / FREE TRANSPORT LINKS from Conway Park and Birkenhead North.

We have excellent opportunities to work for a company who design and produce Safety equipment. The roles are based on an ongoing basis and will lead to permanent contracts for suitable candidates.

Our client offers ongoing work, with training and development with fantastic progression opportunities within the business. We’re looking for candidates who have a background in manufacturing and industrial sewing.

The purpose of the role is to:

To operate industrial sewing and welding machines. To assist with the production of products such as life suits, submarine equipment, inflatable rafts and walls. The list goes on. To be able to work with industrial quality products and materials and perform H&S on equipment.

Duties will include:

·        Operating sewing machines

·         Operating welding machines

·         Managing Gluing tasks

·         Packing

·         H&S checks

·         Quality control

The hours of work Monday to Friday

·         8am-5pm Monday-Thursday 8am-1pm Friday

The rate of pay is:

·         £10.25ph

*FLT COUNTERBALANCE DRIVER, ELLESMERE PORT*

*IN-DATE FLT COUNTERBALANCE LICENSE & EXPERIENCE OF WAGON LOADING ESSENTIAL*

*UP TO £12.00 PER HOUR*

gap personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for our client based in Ellesmere Port. We are looking to recruit an FLT Counterbalance Driver to their team on a temporary basis.

Pay & Working Hours

• Mon – Fri working 8am-5pm
• Up to £12.00 per hour dependent upon experience

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading wagons using FLT Counterbalance  
• Completing general yard tasks including keeping the yard clean and tidy
• Working within a fast-paced environment using your own initiative but also working successfully as part of the team

Essential Skills / Experience

• In-Date FLT Counterbalance License with experience  
• Previously worked within a busy warehousing / yard environment
