We are looking to recruit 1 Large Machine Operator within our Cartonboard and Lamination production area, where we sheet, laminate and guillotine cardboard for the printing industry.

Hours of work & Pay: 

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating Shifts - 6:00am-14:00pm / 14:00pm-22:00pm / 22:00pm -6:00am
• £10.73 to £11.01 per hour + additional night shift allowance at £2.56 per hour

Duties:

• Operation of large machinery
• Responsible for the computerised shopfloor data collection system
• Machine set up
• working to accurate metric dimensions
• Communicating with material handlers, Factory Management, Quality Management and other as required

Essential Skills Required

• Experience in machine set up
• Working with slitters, knives and working to accurate metric dimensions.
• Good health and safety awareness
• A good level of communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Good Attendance

Hours of work and Pay

• Rotating Shifts - 6:00am-14:00pm / 14:00pm-22:00pm / 22:00pm -6:00am
• £9.75 for 6:00am-14:00pm and 14:00-22:00pm shift
• £12.31 for 22:00pm -6:00am shift

• General housekeeping
• Manufacture point of sale advertising and luxury boxes

Essential Skills Required

• Previous experience of working within manufacturing would be ideal
• Flexibility with regards to working hours
• Work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and committed
