Job Role: Fulfilment Operations Supervisor
Hours: Monday – Friday 14:30pm-23:00 / 6:00am- 14:30 (ROTATION)
Role Type: temp to perm
Hourly rate: £12 per hour during training - £13.50 per hour once completed
Our client is recruiting for a Fulfilment Operations Supervisor, your role will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, inventory management and coordinating the kit production process. You will ensure that all products are handled and packed correctly, accurately tracked, and effectively distributed. Your excellent organisational skills and attention to detail will ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide supervision of warehouse staff (permanent & temp) to ensure all departmental objectives are achieved through:
o Scheduling work and assigning tasks
o Staff absence management
o Team Building
o Warehouse staff training (including temps)
o Timekeeping
· Control and monitor the kit production processes and company procedures on:
· Working practices and efficiency
· Stock Management
· Storage of stock and Checking barcodes and batch codes
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies by conducting regular safety inspections:
o Health and Safety guidelines
o Cleaning and housekeeping
o Security
· Monitor inventory levels and inbound stock to eliminate production delays.
o Make recommendations for replenishment as needed.
· Ensure all internal fulfilment is completed as per agreed scheduling and to the required standard.
o High level of quality control is required.
· To recommend necessary improvements to processes and controls when identified.
· Assist with general stock counts and annual stock takes.
· Complete the on-site induction for all new staff
The Candidate:
o Minimum of 1 years of experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or fulfilment centre setting.
o Proven track record of leadership and team management skills.
o Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
o PC Literate including Word, Excel, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
o Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to report on Key performance indicators and meet targeted service levels.
o Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
