Job description

Logistics Administrator required for our client’s logistics team. You'll manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include processing and booking orders, handling communications, and maintaining detailed records.

Hours: 07.00-19.00 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota

Pay: £12.10 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Location: Basildon 

Type: Temporary, ongoing assignment with opportunity for permanent contract


  • Pick orders on the system.
  • Allocate orders to pickers.
  • Print labels and picklists/packing lists.
  • Book orders on the carrier system.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets with accurate data.
  • Assist colleagues as needed to ensure operational efficiency.


  • Proven work experience as a Logistics Administrator or a similar role in logistics.
  • Familiarity with logistics software or transport management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Professional telephone manner.
