Job description
Job Title: General Assembly Operative
Payrate: £11.44ph
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Pinxton NG16
Ideal skills and experience:
- Reliable workers.
- A willing to learn new skills.
- Engineering and industrial backgrounds.
- Keen eye for detail
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble products or components by following instructions and drawings to assemble various products or parts.
- Operate tools and machinery and using hand and power tools.
- Inspect parts and products to ensure that all assembled items meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform quality checks and Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Meet production targets
- Collaborate with team members
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:15am-16:45 and Fridays 08:15 – 15:45
