Monday to Friday, 6:15am to 3.30pm

£11.44 per hour

gap personnel Exeter are now recruiting for a Packing Operative to join a fantastic manufacturing company based in central Crediton.

You will join a team that specialise in confectionary products and distribute throughout the UK. Working within their production department, you will be joining a department which is key in the supply chain of their produce ready for dispatch. The role does demand accuracy, accountability, and reliability with a key eye for attention.

The role of a Packing Operative is varied with duties including:

Packing of confectionery products

Working within a factory environment

Operating equipment/machinery

Maintaining a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies

Ensure machinery is cleaned to a high standard

Ability to work to a fast, consistent pace

Heavy lifting will be involved as part of this role

Working hours and pay rates:

Monday to Friday

6:15am to 3.30pm

£11.44 per hour

Key skills; packing, production, despatching, machine operating, weighing, stores, stock rotation, quality control, goods-in, packaging
