£12 per hour

gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for Production Operative on a temp to perm basis based in Dunkeswell, Honiton.

You will be joining a unique business that supply directly into the wellness and nutrition industry via a wide range of products including food supplements, meal replacements and sports nutritional products. The role of a Machine Operator is to ensure that the lines are running efficiently, and that each product run target is achieved.

Reporting directly to the Line Leader your duties will included:

• Preparing recipes in batches to order, ensuring product specification ratios are adhered to.
• Operating equipment within the production rooms and store areas using health and safety rules, while maintaining targeted output with minimal interruption.
• Filling, labelling and blending
• Loading and unloading machines, and packaging finished goods.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous FMCG experience (desired).
• Well-organised and able to work unsupervised.
• Previous machine operating experience (desired)
• Be able to follow procedures to KPI standards.
• Good understanding of English (written and verbal)

The pay rate and working hours for the role is:

• Working 4 days out of 5 (Monday to Friday)

• £12 per hour
