Drivers Mate / Porter Required

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting Drivers Mates / Porters to work in collaboration with one of our prestigious clients based in Swindon.

This is a physically active, customer-facing role supporting delivery drivers with the delivery of high-value goods to residential and commercial customers. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing a premium white glove delivery service, ensuring every customer receives a professional, courteous, and seamless experience from delivery through to placement within the customer's property.

The Role

• Assisting drivers with multi-drop deliveries.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
• Carrying products into customers' homes and businesses.
• Ensuring goods are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
• Providing a high standard of white glove delivery service.
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every interaction.
• Helping position items as directed by customers.
• Maintaining a professional image and representing the business positively.
• Following all health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A professional and friendly attitude.
• Good physical fitness, as heavy lifting and manual handling will be required.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team.
• Applicants must be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to the location of the site and the early 6:00am start times.
• Previous experience in delivery, removals, porter, warehouse, or logistics roles is beneficial but not essential.
