Event Staff – Royal Welsh Show (Kitchen Porters & Runners)
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
We’re recruiting reliable event staff to support the Royal Welsh Show as kitchen porters and runners. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast‑paced catering environment at one of Wales’ biggest events.
Contract Dates
You can choose one of the following working blocks:
- Saturday 18th – Wednesday 23rd
- Monday 20th – Thursday 23rd
Accommodation
- Camping on site is required
- You must bring your own camping gear
Role Overview
As part of the catering team, you’ll support busy food service areas across the showground.
- Kitchen portering — washing up, keeping work areas clean, supporting chefs
- Running duties — moving stock, delivering food, supporting service teams
- Cleaning & hygiene — maintaining safe, tidy workspaces
- Team support — helping colleagues during peak periods
Pay
- £12.71 per hour
- Paid weekly
Travel
- You must be able to drive to the Royal Welsh Showground (Builth Wells LD2 3SY)
