Job description:

We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives for our client in Barnsley working in a refrigerated environment, you will be picking food items for a leading retailer ensuring you hit daily target amounts.

• Ideal skills and experience:

Some warehouse experience is preferable, but not necessary – you will learn on the job and all training will be provided. An eye for detail when checking goods and picking.

• Key responsibilities:             

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will involve day to day responsibilities on a warehouse shop floor, including:

• Ensuring that products are processed and handled correctly.
• Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Picking with voice and scanners.
• Working in 0-3 degree temperatures.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Adhere to daily pick targets
• Using a pump truck

Hours of work:       

• Any 5 out of 7 - Weekend work will be required
• 4pm-Finish 
• Flexibility to work extra at peak times is required.
