Shift: Nights (7pm-7am)

Basic Pay Rate: £13.87

Overtime Rates: £17.34

gap personnel Exeter are currently recruiting for Production Operators based at global Dairy processors, Savencia Fromage and Dairy, located at The Ham, Westbury, BA13.

You will be joining a company impassioned on leading the way to better food, doing this by acting in favour of sustainable, ethical, and inclusive growth with their staff at the heart of everything they do.

The role of a Production Operator is a key position within not only the operations of the site, but also within the supply chain into both the Food and Distribution industries. They, and the products they are packing, are the key to Savencia’s ongoing success.

As a Production Operator, your main responsibilities are:

• Having a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and are great team players.
• Attention to detail and strong quality focus.
• Making sure you are following all Health and Safety procedures.
• A willingness to learn, as you will be expected to work in other departments or packing lines.

Within this department, you will benefit from having experience or transferable skills such as; Previous warehouse or production experience however they are happy to train someone if you have not undertaken this work previously.

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.

All suitable candidates will complete a site induction and assessment before being able to start.
