Timber Yard Operative

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am – 6:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm
Location: South Cerney, Gloucestershire
Start: Immediate starts available

We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established sawmill based in South Cerney. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, physically fit individuals looking for long-term, full-time work in a supportive and growing business.

Position Overview:
As a Timber Stacker, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, outdoor production environment, handling and stacking timber as it comes off the line. You’ll be an essential part of the operations team, ensuring products are safely and accurately sorted and prepared for dispatch.

Key Duties Include:

• Manually stacking and sorting timber products

• Supporting with general yard duties and manual handling

• Following strict health & safety guidelines

• Working closely with production and warehouse teams

What We’re Looking For:

• Good physical fitness and ability to work on your feet all day

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

• No experience required – full training provided
