Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for our client in Ollerton, South Nottinghamshire for a permanent Technical and Warranty Manager

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday

08:00 - 16:30

Pay

£30,500 per annum

Description and key responsibilities as a Technical and Warranty Manager:

  • Responsible for responding to all customer technical queries along the management of the in-house warranty adjudication process. 
  • To speak directly with our customers and answer any technical enquires, managing the helpline.
  • To act as the technical lead for the branch working alongside the turbo team leader.
  • To adjudicate and support the team leader on all  turbo warranties.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all adjudication reports.
  • Help update the warranty report templates as and when required.
  • Manage the warranty process in line with the aims and objectives of the business.
  • Prepare and provide trend analysis reports on products to the turbo management team - monthly.
  • Support the turbo team leader in carrying out product awareness and quality training with the employees.
  • Raise any concerns with the Management Team as and when necessary.
  • Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Management Team.
  • Responsible for the regular technical updates that can be shared with our customers.

Qualifications and skills required as a Technical and Warranty Manager:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Turbocharger failure modes.
  • Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.
  • Proven experience to work as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
