Job Title: Van Driver Location: High Wycombe, UK (Starting at 5 AM) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: &pound;13 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
We are recruiting on behalf of our Reputable client, a leading company in the logistics sector, known for its commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. They are currently seeking dedicated Van Drivers to join their team based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Deliveries: Conduct multi-drop deliveries to customers across London, handling 15-20 deliveries daily.</li>
<li>Start Time: Begin at 5 AM, typically departing the depot by 5:45 AM after quality checks.</li>
<li>Loading/Unloading: Collaborate with the night team, who will pre-load heavy items. You will be responsible for decanting smaller items from pallets upon arrival.</li>
<li>Quality Assurance: Ensure all items are checked and accounted for during the loading process.</li>
<li>Timely Returns: Depending on the load, drivers typically return to the depot by 2 PM.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Experience:
<ul>
<li>License: Full clean driving license.</li>
<li>Experience: Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving is essential.</li>
<li>Skills: Good geographical knowledge of London, ability to work efficiently under time constraints, and experience with vehicle defect reporting and PDA usage.</li>
<li>Attitude: Punctual, flexible, with a proactive and methodical mindset.</li>
</ul>
