Warehouse Operative (Forklift – Counterbalance & Reach Truck)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks across a variety of warehouse racking systems.
• Use the warehouse management system and scanners to receive, store, pick, and dispatch goods.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trailers at docking bays.
• Ensure all goods are packaged to a high standard before dispatch.
• Shunt lorries around the yard as required (training will be provided).
• Complete relevant paperwork accurately in line with warehouse procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Driving Licence (essential for yard shunting).
• Valid Forklift Licence – Counterbalance or Reach (essential).
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Shift Options & Availability:

Option 1:

• 4 on 3 off (Sunday to Wednesday)
• Hours: 09:00 – 21:00

Option 2:

• 4 on 2 off, rotating weekly:
• Week 1: 05:00 – 15:00
• Week 2: 11:00 – 21:00
