Warehouse Manager Wanted in Swanley!!!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £36,000 to £38,000 per year, based on experience.
Type: Permanent
Location: Swanley BR3(Due to the location own transport is required)
Job Description:
We’re recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead a busy warehouse operation. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, maintaining safe and efficient processes, and ensuring timely distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all warehouse functions: offloading, storage, picking, and dispatch

Prioritise and delegate daily workloads to ensure timely deliveries

Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and support
-
Plan staff holidays, organise overtime, and ensure cost efficiency
-
Maintain clear warehouse systems and ensure team adherence
-
Ensure warehouse cleanliness, stock accuracy, and system alignment
-
Conduct regular audits in line with Health & Safety and ISO procedures
-
Plan and oversee equipment maintenance and vehicle compliance
-
Address daily issues and maintain strong communication across teams
Knowledge & Skills:
-
Minimum 1 year of Counterbalance FLT experience (essential)
-
4-Way Reach Truck licence/experience (desirable)
-
Previous experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
-
Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
-
Knowledge of warehouse systems, stock control, and safety regulations

Confident managing people, resources, and warehouse processes

Familiar with transport and Health & Safety legislation

Comfortable using warehouse IT systems and reporting tools
