We are currently recruiting for a perm role of a Warehouse Operator based in ChepstowOur client is a busy manufacturing company and as such, they are looking to add new members of staff to their team.Contract: PermShifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pmSalary: &pound;23,920To assist the team-leader, to coordinate the picking and packing of orders for both the production lines and customer orders. Contributing towards the smooth running of the warehouse.Key Responsibilities<ul>
<li>Pick, check &amp; pack orders ready for dispatch/production</li><li>Accurately and safely load and unload&nbsp; wagons/deliveries ensuing deliveries are physically checked and booked in</li><li>Accurately completing paperwork/records e.g. ensure that the Batch numbers of all outgoing and incoming goods are maintained for traceability, completing drop sheets, labelling of stock from the suppliers</li><li>Assisting with the cycling counting/stock take when required.</li><li>Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment.</li></ul>
RequirementsPrevious experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment<ul>
<li>Forklift licence.</li><li>Knowledge of picking systems, despatch methods and couriers; and</li><li>Enthusiastic and flexible, with a can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure.</li></ul>
