Production Operative

 

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing site in Rossendale. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role involving the operation of machinery and tools in a dynamic production environment.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals who can thrive under pressure and maintain high standards of quality.

Location: Rossendale
Pay Rate: £14.70 per hour (including shift allowance)

Shift Pattern – Continental Shifts

• Training (Days): Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Continental Shift Rotation:
  • Day Shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm (Monday to Wednesday), 7:00am – 3:00pm (Thursday) – 44 hours
  • Night Shifts: 7:00pm – 7:00am (Monday to Wednesday) – 36 hours
• Rotating between days and nights as part of a continental shift pattern

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and tools, including saws and production equipment
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Identify and resolve production issues quickly
• Minimise waste and maximise output
• Maintain high standards of quality, health, and safety

• Hands-on experience with tools and machinery
• Able to work at speed while maintaining accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed
