We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in the Blackburn area for Clean Room Operatives.

Our client is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleanroom Operative to join their team.

Job Summary: The Cleanroom Operative is responsible for performing various tasks within a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring that components are assembled, inspected, and packaged in accordance with strict cleanliness and quality standards. This role requires careful adherence to cleanroom protocols and procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a cleanroom environment to assemble, inspect, and package aerospace components, following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
  • Handle materials and components using appropriate cleanroom techniques, including the use of gloves, gowns, masks, and other protective gear.
  • Perform visual inspections of components for defects, contamination, or damage, using microscopes or other magnification tools as required.
  • Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment to meet cleanroom cleanliness standards.
  • Adhere to strict protocols for entering and exiting the cleanroom, including proper gowning procedures and airlock usage in line with FOD.
  • Work with quality control and engineering teams to resolve any issues related to component cleanliness or assembly.
  • Participate in regular cleanroom training sessions and stay up to date with the latest cleanroom procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of cleanroom processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to cleanroom operations.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a cleanroom environment, preferably in the aerospace, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small and delicate components.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a cleanroom suit.

Hours

Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday

07:15am-17:00pm
