Pay & Hours of Work

·         7am-4pm Monday to Thursday & 7am – 1.30pm Friday

·         £12.21 per hour

 

Responsibilities

·         To ensure a clean, safe working environment within the production and yard area

·         To clear production recycling bins from lines and recycle in the yard appropriately by:

-          using cardboard and polythene baler

-          breaking down broken pallets and wooden product to ensure more effective use of wood skip

-          identifying and minimizing general waste

·         Co-ordinate collection of baled card, poly, strapping, keeping accurate paperwork for environmental and accounting purposes

·         Maintain and improve 5S to ensure highest standards of cleanliness in the production areas and yard, involving but not limited to emptying bins, brushing floors, picking litter etc

·         Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed

 

Essential Skills

·         The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and energetic individual

·         Works well on own initiative but equally at home as part of a high performing team

·         High attention to detail

·         Able to multitask and juggle numerous jobs to keep all lines running and clean

·         Positive with a can-do attitude
