Job description
Are you looking for work in the Deeside (CH5) area? We are proud to be recruiting for our well-established client for Food Production and Packing Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis.
Main Purpose of role - To support the team within the Food Production & Packing area; weighing, checking, labelling and packing of products
Pay & Hours of Work - 3x Shifts to choose from!
Mornings: Monday to Friday working 6am-2pm (£11.55 PH)
Afternoons: Monday to Friday working 2pm-10pm (£12.25 PH)
Nights: Monday to Friday working 10pm-6am (£13.78 PH)
There is a Deeside Shuttle Bus stop close to the location of the site – Buses 204, 811, D1, D2 & D3
Responsibilities
Weighing and checking raw materials before production and general food production duties
Packaging and labelling of food products ready for despatch.
Completing basic quality checks of products prior to despatch
Maintaining an extremely high level of hygiene, cleaning the environment regularly
Working alone to own initiative but also as part of a team to meet targets.
Heavy lifting of ingredient sacks and product around the production & packing area.
Requirements
Previously worked within a food manufacturing environment would be desirable, however not essential
Willing to pick up new skills and learn new processes
Happy working to meet targets
Comfortable lifting heavy ingredient sacks and products
