🚜 Bale Clamp FLT Driver – Sandycroft
£14.70 per hour | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Opportunity
An exciting ongoing opportunity has become available for an experienced Bale Clamp FLT Driver to join our client, a well-established plastics recycling company based in the Sandycroft area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing operation, working within a fast-paced industrial environment as part of an experienced team.
💷 Pay & Hours of Work
- £14.70 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 8, 10 or 12-hour shifts available
- Ongoing opportunity with long-term potential
🔧 Main Duties & Responsibilities
As a Bale Clamp FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the site.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT with Bale Clamp attachment
- Loading and unloading plastic materials and recycled products
- Moving, stacking and storing bales safely within the warehouse and yard
- Supplying production areas with materials when required
- Loading finished products ready for dispatch
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely
- Working closely with production and warehouse teams to maintain an efficient operation
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures and site rules
- Carrying out general warehouse and manual handling duties where required
✅ Requirements
- Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Previous experience using a Bale Clamp attachment is essential
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, recycling, warehouse or industrial environment is advantageous
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
