📌 Location: Flintshire
💷 Salary: £28,211 per annum (pro rata)
🕒 Hours: 30 hours per week (part-time)
📅 Working Pattern: Initially Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Café Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day running of a vibrant community café while helping adults with learning disabilities and/or autism develop valuable life, vocational and employability skills. This is a rewarding opportunity to combine hospitality experience with meaningful person-centred support.

 

🎯 What You'll Be Doing

☕ Café & Customer Service

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including barista-style beverages.
• Prepare and serve light meals, snacks and refreshments.
• Operate tills and process payments accurately.
• Monitor stock levels, merchandising and product displays.
• Support café opening and closing procedures.

✅ What We're Looking For

Essential

✔ Experience in hospitality, catering, retail or a customer-facing environment.
✔ Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Good IT and administrative skills.
✔ A passion for supporting people to achieve their goals.
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
✔ Commitment to equality, inclusion and person-centred values.

 

Desirable

⭐ Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
⭐ Barista training or café experience.
⭐ Knowledge of vocational learning, supported employment or social enterprise.
⭐ Full UK driving licence.
