Senior Planner

Up to £40k per annum 

Monday – Friday / General Office Hours

Our client based in the Ellesmere Port area is currently looking for a Senior Planner to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

Performance Objectives

·        Oversee the MRP process - Outputs, exceptions, and planning parameters (lead time, ROP, ROQ and Safety stock).

·        Capacity and load management - Balance workload, identify constraints and mitigating actions.

·        Purchasing (materials) - Oversee standard lead time purchases, manage supply of long lead time purchases (Far East).

·        Inventory - Optimise stock levels, monitor stock health, and define safety stock strategy.

·        ERP Planning Data Management - Maintain data integrity, resolve issues, and drive improvements.

·        Change Management - Control and co-ordinate changes and lead stock phase in/out.

·        Root cause analysis & correct action - Analyse supply chain and planning failures and implement robust corrective action.

 

Person Specification

·        Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential.

·        Experience in senior planning or supply chain role.

·        MRP/ERP systems experience is essential.

·        Deep understanding of capacity planning and manufacturing processes.

·        Ability to problem solve.

·        Able to work to tight deadlines and at times high pressurised environments.

·        Excellent communicator.

·        High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production planning software.

·        Flexibility around working hours.

·        Strong ability to multi-task and remain organised.
