Packing Team Leader
£13.38 per hour / £27,830 per annum
Monday – Friday / 6am – 2pm
Deeside
Our client based in the Deeside area is currently looking to a Packing Team Leader. Reporting to the Packing Manager, the Packing Team Leader is responsible for supervising the packing department operations, ensuring that products are packed according to quality standards, efficiently and on time. This role requires leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail, ensuring that all packing processes comply with company guidelines and safety standards.
Performance Objectives
- · Assisting the Senior Team Leader in achieving the production plan and efficiency of the packing hall.
- · Report all issues, with lines and machines, to Senior Team Leader and Engineers.
- · Ensuring that all legal requirements labelling and coding are met.
- · Ensuring factory and personnel hygiene standards are always maintained.
- · Maintaining traceability for all in-process and finished products.
- · To report serious food safety or quality issues immediately to the STL-JTL-Packing Manager
- · Helping on lines, when needed, and making sure employees are following all the correct procedures.
Key Result Areas
- · To ensure that’s all products are packed on time, at the correct temperature in the correct packaging.
- · To ensure that all paperwork is completed correctly, on time and to company standards.
- · To ensure that the barcode reader is running efficiently and any issues reported to the Packing Manager.
- · To ensure that hygiene and safety standards are always met.
- · To complete all CCP’s and countersign paperwork.
- · To complete start up checks at the start of the shift.
Person Specification
- · Experience of working within a similar role.
- · This role requires, problem-solving, and attention to detail, ensuring that all packing processes comply with company guidelines and safety standards.
