Mill Cleaner – Immediate Start (2-Week Role with Ongoing Opportunity)

Gap Personnel is currently recruiting for a Mill Cleaner to join our client based at Crown Chicken Ltd, Green Farm, Edge Green, Kenninghall, NR16 2DR.

This is a temporary 2-week position with an immediate start, with the opportunity to be transferred to a chicken factory in Diss for ongoing work after completion.

Important:

• Candidates must have their own transportation due to location.
• Conversational English is required.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Cleaning floors, walls, machinery (when safe), restrooms, and WC facilities
• Performing and documenting routine inspections and cleaning activities
• Carrying out deep cleaning tasks and special projects
• Reporting any maintenance issues or repair needs to management
• Completing work orders and managing cleaning supplies/inventory
• Supporting team coordination and, where required, assisting with supervising others
• Following all health & safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE (hard hat, eye protection, gloves)
• Occasionally operating an FLT (if required and trained)
• Undertaking any additional duties as reasonably requested
