Machine Operator

Location: Accrington / Hyndburn Area
Salary: Up to £31,050 per annum including shift allowance

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer that is continuing to invest in its operations and expand its production team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring specialist production equipment. You will ensure production runs efficiently, quality standards are maintained, and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Duties Include:

• Operating production machinery safely and effectively
• Preparing machines for production runs and product changeovers
• Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Adjusting machine settings where required
• Completing production records and documentation
• Reporting mechanical issues or breakdowns
• Carrying out routine housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance
• Working towards production targets and deadlines
• Following all health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality and safety standards

Desirable:

• FLT licence
