Job description

gap Personnel is seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder with a keen eye for detail and a focus on clean, aesthetically pleasing welds. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to produce high-quality, precise work with finesse. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy manufacturing team in Stow Maries, Essex, with an immediate start available

MIG / TIG Welder

Location: Stow Maries CM3
Hours: Flexible to suit you. Monday–Friday, 06.00-15.00, 08:00–17:00 (regular overtime available)
Pay: Competitive / negotiable depending on experience

  • Duties:
  • MIG and TIG welding mild steel components with precision 
  • Production welding to drawings and specifications
  • Fabrication of flat and formed steel parts
  • Maintaining quality and consistency in a production environment

Requirements:

  • Proven MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Experience with light to medium gauge steel
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
  • Production or manufacturing background preferred
