Job description
Join a well-established manufacturer in Blackburn and secure a long-term role with real career growth opportunities! As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in our production process.
Salary: £13.07 per hour
Shift Pattern: Continental Shift – 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun – 60 hours
- Week 2: Wed, Thu – 24 hours
- Shift Rotation: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating blow and injection moulding machinery
- Conducting quality checks on production
- Recording production data (parts, rejects, weights)
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Supporting smooth handovers between shifts
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in manufacturing or machine operation (training provided)
- Basic understanding of health & safety procedures
- Comfortable wearing PPE
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Able to work both independently and within a team
