Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Mixing & Blending Operative with FLT experience to join their production team in Blackburn. This role involves a combination of ingredient mixing, accurate measurement work, and FLT duties within a busy manufacturing environment.

Salary: £12.91 per hour (Days/Afternoons) 

            £15.25 per hour (Nights)

Location: Blackburn

Job Type: Full‑time, Rotating Shifts

Licence Required: Valid RTITB Counterbalance

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Mixing and blending ingredients following written instructions

  • Measuring quantities accurately (good numeracy and literacy essential)

  • Operating FLT Counterbalance as required

  • Supporting production and warehouse operations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

 

Shifts

Training: 06:00 – 14:00 Rotating Shifts (post‑training):

  • 06:00 – 14:00

  • 14:00 – 22:00

  • 22:00 – 06:00

You must be able to work all three shifts.

 

About You

  • Valid RTITB Counterbalance licence

  • Good numeracy and literacy for measuring and mixing

  • Experience in production or warehouse environments

  • Reliable, punctual and safety‑focused

  • Able to work rotating shifts
