Job Title: General Laborer / Hygiene Operative

Hours :9:30-4pm Pay Rate : £12.71 per hour 

Overview:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers / Hygiene Operatives in Rochdale .

This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, physically fit, and able to work on short notice with varying hours based on operational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general laboring duties including heavy lifting and manual handling
• Move, load, and organize stock efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across work areas
• Assist with cleaning equipment, surfaces, and production areas
• Follow all health and safety guidelines at all times
• Support team members and supervisors with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting
• Good level of fitness and stamina
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Flexibility to work ad hoc shifts, sometimes at short notice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
