Production Operative

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in the Blackburn are for Production Operatives. 

Summary of Role:

The production operative will work with the manufacturer of composite, structural and non-structural components. You will have the ability to work within a team as well as individually to meet manufacturing/ operational objectives set by the Team Leader. We are looking for a flexible attitude to enable you to become a versatile, multi-skilled individual who can work across several different manufacturing functions within the business.

Principal responsibilities: 

Frequent communication with the team leaders (several times throughout each day) to understand clear production plans so that the objectivies can be met. 

Maintain compliance to all master processes and associated documents, therefore, ensuring industry standards are upheld in the production of components, this will involve the useage of batch cards, work instruction sheets and so forth. 

Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards 

To adhere to procedures which include safety, waulity, cost, delivery and people. 

Tool preparation in accordance with work instruction sheets

Application techniques of bagging and associated materials

Manual lap up of carbon and glassed fibre pre-impregnated materials into mould tooling

Hours:-

Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday 

07:15am till 17:00
