Powder coater / Wet Paint Sprayer

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater/Wet Paint Sprayer to join our well-established client in Colne. This is a genuine temporary to permanent opportunity, and proven experience in powder coating is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Coating Application: Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray guns.

·         Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask surfaces as required for coating.

·         Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate powder coating equipment.

·         Work Area Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized.

·         Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

·         Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.

 

Requirements:

·         Mathematical Skills: Basic maths for measurements and calculations.

·         Experience: Previous experience in powder coating processes is essential.

·         Overtime: Flexibility to start at 6am and work Saturday mornings, as required.

·         Work Ethic: A hardworking, proactive attitude with a desire to contribute to the success of the business.

·         Independence: Ability to work without direct supervision and quality check your own work.

·         Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and a "can-do" attitude.

·         Time Management: Ability to effectively manage time and meet production deadlines.

·         Problem-Solving: Keen eye for detail and ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise.

 

Shift Pattern:

·         Hours: 8:00 am – 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday (with overtime available on Saturdays). 

Pay Rate:

·         Starting Rate: £12.21 per hour.

·         After 3-Month Probation: £15.00 per hour.
