FLT Driver

Gap Personnel are currently recruitment of x 1 FLT Driver to work with our client based in Barton Under Needwood

Details:

• Competitive salary
• 44 hours (Monday to Thurs 7am to 5pm & Fri 7am to 1pm) to be decreased to 40 hours from 01.09.25 (Monday to Thurs 7am to 4pm & Fri 7am to 1pm)
• Temp to Perm position

Key Responsibilites:

• To carry out various duties as and when required by the business.
• To assist the production process within each business unit
• Undertake offsite working as and when required
• You will be expected to undertake occasional shot blasting duties and the cleaning of materials
• You will load and unload materials and equipment across the site, this will involve some manual handling of materials
• You must maintain and operate heavy equipment and machinery, forklifts, cranes, battery electric vehicles etc.

The Person:

• Must have both B1/B2 licence and are willing to train on a B3 course.
• ‘In house’  in date licences will be considered
• Previous experience in rail or automotive industry
• Proven experience in using counterbalance, reach, pivot forklift trucks, slinging equipment, cab and pendant controlled overhead cranes.
• Have a recognised forklift and crane driving qualifications
• Current driving licence
