Part Time Cleaner

We have been supporting our manufacturing client with Production Operators for a number of years and now we are supporting them with a Part Time Cleaner role

 

Working 2 days a week, you will be working within their Human Resources department, which is a key part of maintaining cleaning and hygiene standards.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will provide a crucial role in supporting the Cleaning Team with day to-day operations providing support with daily upkeep and cleaning of communal areas within the factory

 

Assisting with regular deep cleans of factory communal areas and using specialist equipment during factory closing hours to create a hygienic work environment.

•    Performing cleaning and sanitation duties safely and effectively. 
  • Waste Management - Emptying bins and removal of waste from communal areas to segregate recycling
  • Supply Management - Safe storage of cleaning products, equipment and restocking products/toiletries
  • Surface Cleaning - Operating cleaning machinery (including steamer and buffer)
  • Factory Cleaning - Carrying out a regular deep clean of communal areas, training room and restrooms/toilets 
  • Surface & Floor Cleaning - Dusting, cleaning windows, polishing and vacuuming, sweeping and various areas

 

Skills required:

• Excellent knowledge and experience in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations such as COSHH
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) performing risk assessment and strong knowledge of safe work practices, such as Manual Handling and preventing slips, trips and falls

Hourly rate is £12.21 per hour working 8am - 5.15pm on Thursdays and finishing 4.15pm on Fridays
