Job description
A temporary vacancy has arisen within a busy manufacturing company we currently are supplying with staff
Duties will include
- · Support and advise management and employees on health and safety matters
- · Carry out, review and maintain COSHH risk assessments
- · Complete general risk assessments and safe systems of work
- · Conduct shop-floor inspections and safety audits
- · Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
- · Support compliance with UK health & safety legislation
- · Promote a positive health and safety culture across the site
Essential Requirements:
- · NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- · Proven COSHH experience within a manufacturing/ Foundries/Metals
- · Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation
- · Experience working in a Manufacturing - Foundries/Metal
- · Ability to engage confidently with shop-floor teams
Desirable:
- · IOSH membership (TechIOSH / GradIOSH)
- · Experience in heavy or high-risk manufacturing environments
- · ISO 45001 / 14001 exposure
HHours of work are Days Monday-Friday
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on rates
