gap personnel are proud to be dealing with a new client based in Wrexham
Working for a small but busy manufacturing company, the company is looking to take on a Workshop Technician
- Machine Operation & Assembly: Set up and operate production machinery, hand tools, or CNC equipment based on detailed engineering drawings and work orders
- Quality Control: Monitor products during manufacturing, conduct first-off checks, and inspect finished goods for defects
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform basic fault-finding, adjust machine settings to maximize output, and carry out routine equipment cleaning
- Health & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace, strictly comply with regulations
- Inventory & Administration: Monitor material usage, log issued tools/stock, and accurately fill out order checklists and final inspection reports
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or fast-paced mechanical workshop environment
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical diagrams, use hand and power tools, and learn new machinery quickly
- Attention to Detail: High precision to meet production targets and maintain rigorous quality standards
Hours of Work are Mon-Thur 8am-4.30pm with an early finish on Fridays
