Warehouse Operator

Your key objectives are

• To provide excellent customer service and effective support to achieve the highest standards of professionalism
• To work as an integral member of the team, working in line with company policies and procedures
• Apply attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all goods are correctly received and dispatched.

 

Main Duties:

• Assist with stores duties such as booking in, booking out, picking, packing, and despatch items when needed, as well as stock checking and any other necessary stores requirements.
• Operating a Forklift Truck to move heavy crates/pallets.
• Manual handling of goods sometimes heavy or delicate.
• Liaise with sales team to arrange deliveries, returns and collections when needed
• Conduct goods in inspections to ensure items received are correct and in good order
• Provide high levels of communication across all departments to ensure that customer’s requirements are fully met and any queries or issues are resolved quickly to maintain high customer service levels
• To actively engage in staff meetings, training sessions and job appraisals, continuously striving to develop personally and professionally
• To comply with all company policies and procedures and undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post

 

Salary £26/27k depending on experience

25 days holiday a year (plus Bank Holidays), accruing 1 extra day per full year of service until a max of 30 days is reached

Working hours Mon to Thurs 8am-4:40pm Friday 8am – 2pm

No overtime or weekends
